The driver of a Chevrolet Caprice Classic was going at least 85 mph on Lake Shore Drive when he passed two cars, swerved into a motorcyclist and injured him severely, a witness to the October 2010 accident testified.
The motorcycle driver, a 59-year-old retiree from Mars Chocolate North America, lost his right leg, suffered a brain injury that forced doctors to remove a portion of his temporal lobe and was left with memory loss and impaired speech. He was hospitalized for more than two months and was in a coma for almost three weeks.
If you or a loved one is injured in a motorcycle accident, it is important to contact a Waco personal injury attorney to discuss your legal rights.
