Abby Sutton Hilliard

Abby Sutton Hilliard is the newest associate at Dunnam & Dunnam, bringing a strong academic background, a heart for service, and a deep commitment to family law. A proud Texas A&M graduate, she earned her undergraduate degree summa cum laude before attending Baylor Law School, where she completed the Family Law Professional Track.

While in law school, Abby interned for the McLennan County District Attorney’s Office in the Child Protective Services Unit where she discovered her passion for family law. During her final year of law school, Abby received the award for Outstanding Achievement in Family and Juvenile Law and was honored with the “Boots on the Ground” award for her consistent dedication to the Baylor Law Veterans Clinic. Her passion for serving others was further recognized when she was named a Pro Bono Champion for contributing over 100 hours of volunteer legal work during her time in law school.

Abby passed the Texas Bar in 2025 and is excited to begin her legal career advocating for clients with compassion and integrity. She is especially drawn to family law because it allows her to walk alongside individuals and families during some of the most emotionally complex and pivotal moments of their lives.

Outside the office, Abby enjoys spending time with her husband, Justin, their two goldendoodles, Winnie and Willow, and their two cats, Walter and Wynonna. She’s an avid sports fan—especially when it comes to Aggie or Dallas Cowboys football—and rarely misses a chance to enjoy live Texas country music.
