Four people, including two children, died in a traffic accident at the intersection of Gholson and Ross roads in McLennan County. All four of the dead were in a Hyundai Sonata traveling north on Gholson Road.
Investigators determined the vehicle hydroplaned, overcorrected and swerved into the path of a southbound pickup truck, and then also hit a another truck traveling behind it. All occupants of the Sonata were wearing seat belts.
