Fatal wreck on I-35 near Salado this morning

On Friday a Belton man died when the pickup truck he was driving plowed into the back of a semi-truck parked on the side of southbound Interstate 35. The vehicle was reportedly going at highway speed when his pickup hit the tractor-trailer and burst into flames that burned the pickup and trailer.

The trailer’s cab escaped damage because it was disconnected and moved from the area, but the trailer melted in half.

If a loved one has died as a result of the truck accident, it is important that you contact a personal injury attorney as soon as possible about the situation.
